Built for Every Team, Every Player, Every Week
Zack Kiesewetter and I researched every NFL team's uniform: striping systems, number typography, and color accuracy across all 32 teams, recreating every detail without a single official logo or licensed mark.
Once the designs were locked, I built the entire system for mass exports and live in product rendering through Rive. Each jersey was engineered as a dynamic template, capable of accepting any number and rendering correctly at any dimension, generating thousands of variations across every team and use case across theScore and ESPN's platforms.
The result is a system that thinks for itself. Swap a player, the jersey updates. Change a lineup, the visual follows. Scaling across 32 teams and thousands of active players without breaking.
After Effects Templating
I built an After Effects system that connects directly to player databases, auto detecting names and automatically assigning the correct team jersey and player number without any manual input. Drop in a player, the system finds them, pulls their team and number, and renders the right jersey.
Also featured in the below video is a headshot system for pulling and placing player photography automatically, and a flag system.
